ETA: Well, that was accurate at the time I wrote it, but apparently the site I checked had the wrong info for Death Valley. Given the adjusted info, it was cooler here--but only by about ten degrees.

I've been watching the Weather Channel and the blazing heatwave the southwest and Texas are enduring. Summers are getting unbearable.
