Gacked from
febobe and
surgicalsteel:
1. Do you have a real or fake Christmas tree?
Fake. That's all I have room for. Have a fake one at home, too, mainly because it's cheaper than buying a new tree every year. We have had real ones, though, and once we had a live one; we planted it in the yard, and it's still growing great guns.
2. Do you put up Christmas lights on the exterior of your home?
Would that I could!
3. What's your favorite Christmas song/carol?
...
*explodes*
4. What do you like better, turkey or ham?
*drools*
I like 'em both, really, but for Christmas I prefer turkey. Ham's more for Easter.
5. Do you open up any Christmas presents on Christmas Eve?
Yes.
6. Have you ever been Christmas caroling?
Yep. Would love to do it again, except we never have time....
7. What was your most memorable Christmas gift(s) that you received?
...
*explodes again*
8. What's your favorite Christmas movie?
A Muppet Christmas Carol
9. Have you ever built a real snowman?
Snowmen, snow angels, snowshoeing, inner tubing, snowmobiling... *pines ever so briefly for Montana*
10. Have you ever peeked into a present and found out what it was before Christmas?
No, but I think I've inadvertently stumbled on unwrapped presents before.
11. What is on the top of your Christmas tree?
At school, a cheap little star topper. At home, an angel my mom made when I was... little.
12. Do you own a Santa hat?
Yep. Wore it for St. Nicholas' Day this year.
13. When was the last time you had your picture taken with Santa Claus?
I don't remember.
14. Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?
Well, technically, yes... did a lot of it in Oxford.
15. Do you put candy canes on your Christmas tree?
Sometimes.
16. Who is the hardest person to buy for?
Honestly, I don't really know what anybody wants....
17. Who is the easiest person to buy for?
Probably my parents.
18. How old were you when you realized Santa was imaginary?
I HAPPEN to be an Old Narnian, thank you....
19. What does your morning of Christmas routine consist of?
It varies, but it usually includes breakfast, stockings, and general family-hanging-around-together time in some order.
In other news: Got the counter-Suvian idea written; will probably post it to LJ in the next day or two to get further input before I launch it into the Pit.

[Sniggers] To (probably mis-)quote an old teacher, 'A man goes through three stages in life - believing in Santa Claus, not believing in Santa Claus, and being Santa Claus. I was lucky enough to get to 3 without going through 2'.
(Yeah, he was probably quoting someone else, but it's still funny)
