So this one's going around again:

Gacked from
amberdreams:
1. Go to page 7 (or 77) of your current WIP.
2. Go to line 7
3. Copy down the next 7 lines – sentences or paragraphs – and post them as they’re written.
I think I'll do both...
Page 7 ("he" in this context is Martellus, waking up in Atlantis-standard prison clothes):
This was humiliating. He might actually have preferred to find himself naked.
Sitting up, he continued taking stock of his surroundings. The floor was a solid slab, probably concrete. There were more bars between him and the ceiling, which also appeared to be solid concrete, as did three of the walls beyond the cell. But the fourth, in front of him, had an open doorway, though he couldn’t see much of the corridor beyond. The doorway itself was flanked by two guards, both wearing the same strange dark grey uniform and carrying the same odd black guns as had the men who had surrounded him earlier.
Page 77 (currently--I'm still filling in the middle; "he" in this context is Gil):
“Mm,” he agreed with a sleepy smile and brushed her hair out of her face. “Glad you did.” And then a sobering thought occurred to him. “Agatha... what happened to that other version of you? The one that went through the portal this time, before Krosp blew it up?”
She shook her head. “I don’t know.”
None of the other WIPs are far enough along to qualify, so. :D
I think, btw, that contrary to poll results, I might go ahead and post this one next before a certain point in the first chapter can be Jossed. But I'll probably post a run-off poll for #100, especially since I've had a Crossed Swords bunny chew its way into the hutch (Gil, Agatha, and Tarvek stumble through a rift into the tunnels just as Hogan gets the order to evacuate Stalag 13; also featuring Papa Schultzie at his finest). And then the Baby story and "Evan the Great" will most likely be Nos. 101 and 102 in some order.
