That is about the only sane explanation I can think of...I actually thought of SG-1 there at the end...a though of "Oh, another false 'god' taking over a being,like in Stargate...though I wasn't reminded of your fic until you mentioned it....your fic was much better than that ending though, and I fear than what we will get next season...

Thanks! I do like that AU, if I do say so myself. ;) Maybe this summer I'll get back to it and the deaf!Dean 'verse; I've got the next installments of each started, but they're on the back burner while I work through my Big Bangs.
I wrote off everything after "Swan Song" as deuterocanonical a loooong time ago. But yeah, I'm a little worried about what they'll do to the boys next--and that includes Cas. I may not watch much of Season 7.

Yes, I haven't been as invested in the show this year and I am already a little leery of Season 7 myself.
