First non-spoilery thoughts: A few obvious departures from the book, but nothing as severe as in Prince Caspian (as far as I can tell). The ship is gorgeous. Love the lilies in the Silver Sea. Ben Barnes actually looks his age with a beard! Reep almost looks like he's got a goatee! And I still think Will Poulter looks almost exactly like the Pauline Baynes drawings (just with lighter hair and freckles).
Eeee. I has a happy. :D

Wow. Just. . .wow.

And we might actually have a movie theatre, a real theatre, here in town by December, so I might be able to see it on schedule!!!! And more than once!!!!

After PC, I told my friend N that with Michael Apted directing, VDT was *bound* to be better. Looks like I was right. :D

And YAY for possibly getting to see it opening weekend!!

I'm excited too. I can only hope and pray that they get the dragon scene pegged correctly, as that's the most important part of the story, IMO.

According to reports from a sneak preview at Biola earlier this spring, both the undragoning and the conversation in Aslan's Country are done correctly. I was very relieved to read that.
