... to a WSJ statement about the Tony Snow Family Trust. Don't have any money to give myself, but I figure a link wouldn't hurt. The Center for Health Transformation will begin taking online donations on Friday, and in the meantime there's an address in the WSJ story for sending checks.
Tim Russert's death was surprising and saddening, but Tony's hits closer to home, not just because I was a fan from the days when he guest hosted for Rush, not just because he seemed to be a genuinely wonderful person (and it's been really encouraging to read the tributes that have been posted, especially the one by Cal Thomas), but because my grandfather had colon cancer that metastasized several different times before coming back and attacking his lymph nodes. Although it wasn't the immediate cause of his death, it certainly contributed, and we all knew when he was diagnosed the last time that that fight would probably be his last.
RIP, Tony. See you on the flip side.
