FF.n Weirdness

Just in the last week or two, I've discovered that on FF.n, "Last of the Breed" is getting 1-2 hits on Chapter 3--and only Chapter 3--practically every day, and almost always from within the US. The trend goes back to June. May has a more normal hit distribution, with Chapters 1 and 3 getting slightly more than average, and April shows the completely normal trend of people getting to Chapter 1 and bailing. (It's a fusion with The Shootist--it's pretty short on warm fuzzies.)

Is it a bot, probably? Or is someone spamming other people with the link or something? That's the actual deathfic part of the story, so I can't imagine people linking it specifically for a positive reason!
