Happy New Year, y'all! Not much newsworthy going on here, but this meme is going around again, so it's time once again for...
NAME THAT TUNE!

Step 1. Put your playlist on random.
Step 2. Post the first line from the first 25 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing.
Step 3. Strike out the songs when someone guesses correctly. NO GOOGLING.
I have skipped the first line when it is the name of the song or the chorus. Those are marked with ... or [title] at the start.
And since some of these will be incredibly easy for some of you, I’ve added an extra challenge section at the end, with some of the songs that I had to skip because they had no lyrics. We’ll see how good y’all are at deciphering my transcriptions and/or hints. ;)
ETA: Seven regular songs plus the bonus section yet to go! I've added a bit more context on a few of these to help those of you who are in the ballpark but not quite there yet. (Andmumstheword54 guessed the cut text!)
