Heard some faint crinkly noises from a bag full of styrofoam balls (for a craft project) and thought the disappearing roach was back. So I poked the bag with my walking stick and dislodged... a cricket. :D
As it was only making crinkly noises in the plastic and not chirping like mad, I decided to leave it. But since it seemed to want to *stay* in there, I dumped the bag out and herded the cricket out the door.
I'm still amazed at what happened in Minneapolis. It's awful that the bridge collapsed, and the recovery teams are definitely in my prayers, as are the injured and missing and the families of those confirmed dead. But so many people survived--like the kids on the school bus that nearly fell in, all treated and released.
Some people will call it luck. I call it a miracle.
