I kind of feel like Puddleglum when he tells Jill and Eustace that if the stuff the Underworlders have given them doesn't taste of anything, it can't taste terrible. I think I'd rather have a birthday on which nothing happened than one on which there was a tragedy.
So I got up at a decent hour this morning, and my sinuses hurt--wasn't terribly congested, but my cheekbones were throbbing. So rather than going to church like I'd wanted to, I took a Benadryl and some Advil and went back to bed around 10.
I woke up at ten till three.
Wahoo....

Things should be better tonight, though. There's a drama group coming to evening service. But I need to drink a whole lot of tea to get my voice in shape for choir practice....

But celebrating with friends, even not on your own day, is fun.

Yes, indeed, and I did have a good time at the party my friends had for me Friday night. And church *was* good (and Sis. L is using a walker now!).
