Talk about writer's block...
My pastor has been taking correspondence classes for several years in an attempt to finish up his degree. He's kept plugging at it since the wreck. But I heard him tell someone today that while he hasn't had trouble with the reading assignments or the exams, the concussion has damaged his ability to write papers. He has to really struggle to synthesize the information and do something creative with it.
How bad of a concussion was it? I already knew he had no memory of the accident and some of how out of it he had been the first day or so, but today he said at the end of the sermon that it was five or six days after the wreck that he was finally lucid enough to ask his son-in-law where he was and why he was there (and remember the answer).
*snuggles Pastor H. and gives thanks for a clear mind and a live pastor*
He has a paper due on the 30th, if anyone is inclined to pray for him.

I'll keep them in my prayers, Rosie. I wish there were something more we could "do" for them, but God does answer prayer and will help him as He's done so far. "Ebenezer" and all that!
Blessings and *thought-provoking S'more Brownies*,

Mmmmmmm... if I hadn't overslept this morning, I would have been wise to take S'more Brownies to sell in the dessert auction. Ah, well.
