Omnomnom...
Before I went home last week, I noticed that the birds were prospecting for seed on my porch. So we picked up some bird seed on Saturday and set up my feeder on Sunday, and I already have at least a dozen little birds (mostly sparrows, maybe some finches) coming by regularly, plus a whitewing dove that stops by in the afternoons. :D
As for people food, I have discovered Reese's Dark Miniatures. The peanut butter's a little too salty for me to eat very many at once, but that's probably just as well--they're very good. :)
And on the topic of simple pleasures, I live just a few blocks from the field where my alma mater's marching band practices, and I was pleasantly surprised yesterday to hear them rehearsing a song that was one of my HS band's very favorites.
Happy Tuesday!! Really looking forward to tonight's NCIS--Tony Sr. is back. :D

I think I've heard of Reese's peanutbutter candy. I think I've even had some. In one of the really fancy deli stores they have lots of things I've never seen before, and the Reese sweets are among them.

Reese's peanut butter cups are kind of an acquired taste, but I really like these dark chocolate ones.
